Atterrissage raté pour un avion de Southwest Airline
L'aéroport international de Midway, à Chicago, a été fermé temporairement.
Un avion de Southwest Airlines est sorti de piste à Chicago jeudi 08/12/2005, en raison des mauvaises conditions climatiques, faisant un mort. A cause de la neige et du vent, le Boeing 737 assurant la liaison Baltimore-Chicago a fini sa course dans une rue voisine de l'aéroport, où il a heurté deux véhicules. Un garçon de six ans a été tué dans l'un de ces véhicules, et une dizaine de personnes blessées, selon les autorités.
L'aéroport a été fermé après l'accident qui s'est produit à 19h15 locales, et l'heure de sa réouverture n'était pas encore connue tôt ce matin en France.
Près de 18cm de neige sont tombés sur Chicago jeudi 08/12/2005.
